What is email list management?

Before we get into how you can get this off your plate we need to make sure we're on the same page.

Email list management is not sending your weekly newsletter. It's the technical work behind it that turns generic eblasts into personalised emails that your subscribers actually want to open, click and reply to.

It's also the stuff that will make your head spin if I try to explain how to do it. So I decided, I'll offer it as a service, so you don't have to understand it. Because you've got better, more interesting things to deal with, and I love techy data stuff.

Segmentation: How you send the right message to the right people e.g. clients versus leads, or people struggling with burnout versus people who have recovered from burnout

List hygiene: Those people who never open are dragging down your ability to be seen in the inbox by the ones who want to hear from you.

Personalization: Not just first names. This is about setting up how you can customize the message for each segment or based on certain data points.

Who is this list management service for?

This email service is for Australian and New Zealand service business owners. Specifically professional services businesses and coaches (e.g. executive coaches, b2b coaches, life coaches, health coaches, business coaches). Like all my services this is who I specialize in working with.

You're not a beginner. This service works best if you have over 1000 subscribers. If you've got less than that (but more than 100 subscribers) we can definitely set this up but the approach will be different.

You've grown your email list, but sending generic email campaigns to everyone on your list is not cutting it. Is segmentation really necessary?

Yes, personalization is expected by over 70% of customers today and that includes personalized emails. I've doubled open rates and click through rates with segmentation.

Will you be creating and writing all my emails for me?

I'm not currently offering email newsletter or campaign management services. At some point I may offer these services or arrange a collaborative project so you get full end-to-end email marketing management. But it's not something I can offer at this time.

Alternatively you can outsource it to a Virtual Assistant or email marketer that can offers email campaign management (happy to suggest some if you're stuck).

However, I will setup templates you can use to make it easy to send personalized emails based on your segments. This doesn't include email campaigns sends.

What is not included?

Writing your segmented email campains for you, updating your sequences or landing pages.

However, I will setup templates you can use to make it easy to send personalized emails based on your segments. I can also update your sequence and/or opt-in form for an additional fee. We can discuss this in your free initial consultation.
